AEM 329 -- International Agribusiness Study Trip
AEM 329 is co-taught with Loren Tauer and Todd Schmit. The purpose of this course is to provide students interested in agribusiness management exposure to the concepts and managerial practices essential to the success of agribusiness and food companies competing in the global marketplace. The primary content of the course consists of an international field study. On this field study students are allowed to interact with agribusiness executives and industry representatives from businesses operating at nearly every stage of the agricultural value chain. Field studies have included trips to Australia (2001), Hungary and Slovakia (2002), and Poland (2003), and Holland (2005).
